What result do I want from the call?
You should be clear about whether you wish the telemarketer to close
the sale and take an order, book an appointment for a sales visit
or send product information.
The follow-up
Do you wish A&P to follow-up the contact? Or do you want to
know simply the result of each call and to follow these up yourself?
The script
Our telemarketers work best without a script. However, you should
provide enough information for them to make the initial contact.
If you have any brochures, basic product information and details
about existing clients that you would like to compile into an information
pack, this will greatly increase the chances of generating successful
calls.
It is always very useful to have a list of the most
common objections given by prospects (as you have encountered them)
and the best possible responses. Before you start a campaign we
will provide you with a detailed guideline on the issues we need
addressed.
Any information on competitor products, issues that
are often raised by prospects, strong benefits (USPs) of your products
will again increase the chances of a successful telemarketing call.
Previous telemarketing
If you have conducted telesales campaigns either yourself or using
a third party then the lessons from this will help increase the
likelihood of success in your A&P campaign.
Prospect list
If you have a list of prospective contacts you wish us to call,
please provide them in an electronic format (Excel, CSV file) for
us to process. Think about who in each organisation is your best
potential contact.
Any contacts you provide us are strictly confidential
and will not be used for anyone elses campaigns.
If you would like us to provide a list for you,
then we can discuss the various options. A&P is able to source
list from 100s of sources according to your stated requirements.
Our business is not list broking but we charge a £50 fee per
list, regardless of its size. We will present you with 3 options
and you select your preferred list. This list is yours once you
pay for it, to do with as you choose.
The meeting
An A&P representative will spend half an hour with you on the
telephone to discuss the campaign prior to the first call. This
is a chance for you to ask us any questions and for you to educate
A&P on the various matters outlined above.
When you get the leads
No matter how successful our telemarketing calls, you should follow
up the leads promptly in order to maximise the chances of generating
new business. We will work with you to help you convert as many
as possible into profitable business.
